For undergrad, I majored as a Broadcast Communications major at Shaw University, followed by a Strategic Communications Masters Degree from Liberty University. Like many students, I struggled to find a job post-graduation. I soon got the picture that rather than waiting for a job handout, I  would have to pave my own way to success.

 

I started East Roads Connections out of my urge to travel and be in the know. I would see events in local areas around me last minute and would end up bummed because I didn’t know about the event in time to plan and make arrangements. This got me thinking; there should be a page to find all types of events, festivals, and foods. Us millennials are in a travel exploration phase, and I know I wasn’t the only one interested in knowing what was going on around me.
